Girl Week 2018 Wrap-Up

Girl Week 2018 wrapped up last night, and I must say, it was a rousing success. Many thanks to all of you who participated. You introduced me to, and got me intrigued by, movies I haven't seen yet. That's always a good thing. You also gave me new insights into movies I have seen. That's also a good thing.

I would also like to thank you if you are just a reader. What would a movie blog be without people who take the time to read it. Hopefully, you've made your way to every blog that participated in this week's activities. If not, this post is here to point in the right directions. I only ask that, after reading, take a moment to leave a comment. These bloggers worked very hard on their posts, and if they're like me, there's no monetary incentive to do so. Lots of us view comments as rewards for our effort and proof our words aren't just disappearing into the ether. It makes our day when someone reads our work and decides to engage us in conversation about it. While you're on those blogs (or this one), I highly encourage you to hang out there a bit, look around at some of their other posts. Chances are at least one of these, if not all, will have an appealing style to you and become a place you go to seek out movie opinions and advice.

Yay, I've got a comment!

Below is the complete list of contributors to Girl Week 2018. If you contributed, but I somehow missed it, let me know in the comments below so I can fix this post and give you the recognition you deserve.

  1. It was fun Dell and I discovered several films I'm going to try out.

I like what you said about comments. It is nice to know that someone enjoyed reading what you wrote or at least had a viewpoint on it. I am always pleased to see them when I do a guest post, and delighted to answer, though not to the degree of the fellow above! I also greatly appreciate that you always respond to comments. My impression is that this internet blog thingy is meant to be interactive.

If you decide to try out any of the films I looked at.....yes even The Girl from Rio (yeesh!) I'd love to hear what you think!

Thanks again for letting me participate!!

    1. Thanks for joining. By this point, you've become part of the tradition and I'm more than happy to keep it that way. And yes, this blog thingy is meant to be interactive so I enjoy getting and responding to comments. I've got a long list of recommendations from you. I actually do plan on making a dent in it in the near future.
