  1. I think I paused on that Zac Efron picture a little too long. But then I moved on. And kinda scrolled up a second later. The last one is my favourite though.

  3. I wish the Technicolor Company's silent short The Flag, with Francis X. Bushman as George Washington commissioning Betsy Ross to make a flag, were on DVD or on Youtube. But I can't find it anywhere.

  5. It is certainly a tough time, but I don't blame the flag for that.

  6. My favorite has got to be that snap from Pollyanna. So indicative of its small town pleasures and Hayley Mills's spunky performance. And the Dave picture is beautifully composed, love how his tie blends with the flag. Love that film.

    Ferris Forever!

You should give Dick a try, it's silly overall but makes some trenchant observations.

    1. I might give it a go. To be honest, all I knew of it was the title.

  7. This is awesome.

AS I was scrolling down, I was trying to decide was was most 'Merica, and I thought Cap was probably the most perfect. However, then I hit Borat and knew WE HAVE A WINNER.
