The Most Horrorble Time of the Year!
A few of you have actually been here during prior Octobers. If you have, then you know that this is when I forsake all of the cinematic universe with the exception of the horror genre. And I go hard for 31 straight days. It all starts at midnight tonight. If you want to know exactly how long, keep an eye on the countdown above.
As usual, we'll kick things off with a horror classic. Don't worry, it's not all ancient stuff, though. We'll hit some more current fare, too. We'll also try to hit horror from every angle. We'll hit some haunted houses, run from some slashers, twist our mind psychologically, and we'll even get to have a few laughs. We'll throw in a list or two. This year, we've added a few new ingredients to our witch's brew to switch things up a bit. The Thursday Movie Picks that have become a popular feature around here, all have a horror slant to them. We're also hosting the Slasher Cast-a-thon, where bloggers get to create the cast for their very own slasher flick. Details to come this weekend.
I hope you'll join me every day this month. If you do, leave your two cents in the comments section. If you're lucky, you'll come across a movie that will have looking like the couple pictured above.

Scary Flick Time!
Well folks, it's that time of year again. It's time for my fourth annual 31 Days of Horror!!! Sure, it's a bit of a cliche to spend the entire month of October with ghosts, goblins, and all other creatures of the damned, but that's precisely what I'm going to do. As usual, we'll kick things off on the 1st and roll right through Halloween day. We'll start with a classic, and get into a few more. There will also be plenty movies of recent vintage. We'll definitely sneak in a horror based comedy or two (or three). And I'll try to fit a list in there somewhere. Oh, almost forgot, this year, for the first time we're even going to touch on a book...as it relates to cinema, of course. I'll get things cranking tomorrow. Today, I have to double check my house's history to make sure it's not built on top of an ancient burial ground. Been hearing some strange noises lately. Get...out. Wait...what...did you hear...never mind. Leatherface willing, I'll catch you at the flip of the calendar.

October Again!
Once again it's October, my favorite time of the movie viewing year.
Starting tomorrow, we begin our annual 31 days of horror.
As usual we'll hit some classics, some recent fare, even a comedy or three and a list somewhere in there.
Muahahahaha!!!

It's Scary Time!!!
Once again, the month of October is upon us. If you stopped by last year you know this is the time of year when I drag out all the creature features, slasher flicks, and haunted house stories I can find right up through Halloween. I even throw in a ghoulish comedy or two. Somehow, we're going to squeeze Batman into this mix. In all, it'll be 31 solid days of horror starting at midnight tonight!!!

The End of October
Phew!!!! Sorry folks, after 31 days of ghouls and goblins of all sorts, I'm catching my breath today. It takes a day or so to switch back into normal mode.

OCTOBER!!!
For me, October means Halloween. I'm pretty much going wall-to-wall horror and monster movies, starting at midnight, right up to and including the big day. If you've been paying attention, you know that I'll hit both genres from every angle I can think of. I'll get some classics, some current stuff, some psychological stuff, some slice 'em ups, some foreign stuff, some "so bad, it's awesome" stuff and even a few comedies. For cinematic sadists, like myself, you'll love hanging out here, for the next 31 days. If horror is not normally your thing, you might still find a movie or two that'll intrigue you enough to check out...if you dare. Muhwahahahahaha!
